This webinar will discuss making grammar exercises more meaningful, communicative, lexical, and memorable. Grammar exercises typically include the standard “fill in the blanks,” “complete the sentences,” “match the pairs,” and other tasks you find in any English (or other language) textbook. These exercises are necessary, but students often complete and check them mechanically without engaging.
We’ll fix that! You’ll learn how to liven up and expand on those typical, boring textbook exercises, making them more communicative and fun.
In fact, if you master the art of revamping textbook exercises, you won’t need additional exercises from books like Murphy’s or any activities.
(Although, maybe I shouldn’t have said that since I have a neighboring webinar about working with various communicative activities... But seriously, one doesn’t exclude the other. You can liven up textbook exercises and use activities as needed.)
